Barbara
holds a BS degree from Skidmore College and continued with
post-graduate
work at
Stetson University and University of California San Diego in
business
and
accounting. For over 28 years she has worked with for profit
and
nonprofit
organizations with her main focus on bookkeeping and consulting
for
small
businesses. She will set up or fix your QuickBooks
files,
assess & update your business procedures, and make sure your
ongoing
bookkeeping
needs are met. She will work with your CPA or recommend one,
to
make
sure you are well organized and prepared to submit your
taxes.
Since
1998, Barbara has also worked with
nonprofits
in event gala planning and management in helping organizations
raise
money.
Barbara will work and train your
volunteers
in running registration, data processing, silent and live
auctions,
and
cashiering at the end of your event.
Barbara
has lived in San Diego since 1997
and has
been a member of various nonprofit boards (La Jolla Country Day
School
PA, San
Diego Performing Arts League, and Kahal Am) and is a founding
member and
CFO of
ACT – San Diego, a theatre company for all ages.
